Shattered Lives TV Miniseries Premiering on Channel 21
The TV Miniseries Project
Shattered Lives Miniseries was the vision of Gary Parker to make ten episode miniseries based on his work with the Shattered Lives of Montgomery County, a non-profit created by Mike Valdez who created the program for regional High Schools to showcase the dangers of distracted driving. Gary Parker provided video production services for the films produced by the program at High Schools located throughout Montgomery County, Texas.

Twenty-three years after the beginning of the program, with over 100 short videos produced for schools, Gary turned to Bruce May, asking him to write the screenplay for the miniseries to follow the impact on a local community following a distracted driving accident. Gary and Bruce began working on a storyline which Bruce expanded into a full-length film screenplay with ten episodes designed for TV.

With the support of Mike Valdez and the Shattered Lives of Montgomery County foundation, Indie Films Studios is launching an all out effort to bring this story to the screen, with the support of community leaders in education, municipal government, law enforcement, emergency responders, and corporate leaders, to raise the funds needed to produce this film.
